The band displays a uniquely skilled balance of extremity, riffs, atmosphere and melody. The songs are all very distinct from each other - Modern Metal with hooks!
Very catchy, very memorable. One of my top contenders for the year so far. Favorite track: Temple Compromised.

Erik Salazar I am a huge fan of The Absence and their brand of blackened death thrash. I had never heard of Hot Graves until this release (which features members of The Absence), which bums me out because these guys rip just as hard as The Absence (and this is their last album)! This album will melt your face off! Pairs well with Tony Hawk Pro Skater, driving fast/racing games and pizza/drinking parties. Check this album out! You’re in for a blast! Favorite track: Talk to Me.

progdolphin Plaguewielder manages to maintain an overcast loom over thrash fueled breakaways and body-dragging stomps. That's not to say that these fuming cemetery-bound hooligans don't dig out the grime and fervor of early black metal, delivering lightly psychedelic riffage and corroded reverb-soaked shrieks. Waltzing effortlessly from pit churner to slow burner, Hot Graves burns bright with a shimmering intensity. We'll miss ya! Favorite track: Infinite Glimmering Chasm.

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight).
